Heera returned to her native Bay Area when she joined Butler Armsden in June of 2011 following an extended stint in Southern California. She received her bachelor's in Urban Studies & Planning at UCSD and completed her graduate studies at UCLA receiving a Master of Architecture.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, after living in LA, one of Heera's favorite things about San Francisco is that she gets to walk to work. Influenced by her experience exploring the streets of San Francisco, her background in urban studies planning, and her previous work with a local design non-profit, Heera is inspired by architecture's potential to transform space and catalyze positive change.
When not at the proverbial drafting table she enjoys spending time with her family, and heads to the beach or for a run in Golden Gate Park. Next up on Heera's travel wishlist: Japan or Southeast Asia.
