Marcial Mora

Marcial was born and raised in Santiago, Chile but spent his high school years in Atlanta and received a Master of Architecture degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.  In between high school and graduate school he attended Universidad de Chile for his undergraduate degree and worked at several renowned Santiago architecture firms.

Marcial is inspired by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor and currently prefers to design to music from the Into the Wild soundtrack by Eddie Vedder.  He browses windsurfing websites during his lunch break hoping for wind and waves on the weekend, and is considering a trip to Punta San Carlos in Baja.

When not working on designs for a modern, sustainable residence in Sonoma you may find him bouldering at a local climbing gym, learning to surf or hanging out in Berkeley where his wife attends graduate school.
