Senior Intern Architect


Consult with clients and senior associates to determine functional and spatial requirements of proposed structures that respond to their needs and expectations. Create, develop and prepare architectural designs and presentations by means of two and three-dimensional drawings. Produce architectural scale drawings in concert with design intent, schedules and budgets while integrating engineering into unified architectural designs. Coordinate with design teams including consultants, contractors, fabricators and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives while resolving complex technical architectural issues. Prepare architectural proposals and documents for general contractors, engineers and specialists and perform material research. Review submittals/substitution requests and address change orders pertaining to architectural matters. Conduct regular on-site visits and document site reports and monitor progress and compliance with architectural plans. Present two dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) architectural design plans, construction details, and technical specifications while assuming responsibility for quality control and adherence to applicable codes. Utilize CAD Software including ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Google Sketchup, Maya and Rhinoceros as well as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Acrobat.

EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture


1) knowledge of ArchiCAD and AutoCAD software;

2) knowledge of Google Sketchup, Maya and Rhinoceros software;

3) knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat software;

4) knowledge of two dimensional (2D) and three dimensional (3D) architectural design presentation.

Salary: $68,182 per year. 40 hours per week. Job site: San Francisco, CA.
